1. How do I propose a concurrent session for the conference?
Online proposals are no longer being accepted for this year's conference. Please check back next March or April if you would like to propose a session for the 2008 joint conference in Portland, Oregon.
2. What do I need to know as a concurrent session presenter?
The WLMA annual conference strives to keep costs as low as possible so that districts may send teams of participants. Therefore, presenters will not be financially reimbursed for travel, lodging, presentation preparation, or conference registration fees.
Email a copy of your handouts to Pat Sylvia at wlmaconference@gmail.com by October 1, so they can be posted on the conference website. You will be responsible for copying your handout in sufficient quantity for your session. WLMA will reimburse printing costs up to $50.00. Present your receipt at registration desk for reimbursement. Presenters may not charge for handouts. You will be notified of the capacity of your session after the submission deadline and the acceptance of your proposal.
All presenters are expected to register for the conference.
